As a business leader, a parent and community supporter, I have learned that if what you’re doing isn’t working, you have to try something else. My father always told me that “Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.” Year after year, we see how Congress has the lowest approval ratings of all time; yet we continue to send the same politicians to Washington and hope for something different to happen. It’s time for a change.
I’m something new. I’m not a politician trying to work my way up the ladder. I’ve never held a political office before. What I am is a new opportunity. A new voice, with new ideas and approaches to solving our problems. In my life and work I have proven my ability to lead through good times and bad, to create collaboration and a common focus on solving the problems my teams and I have faced. I have learned, grown and developed skills that have made me successful. I believe that putting those skills to work in Washington will give me the ability to create the best future for the people of North Carolina.
People ask me why I am part of the 2016 U.S. House District 13 race. My answer is simple: I want to stop the insanity.
If you’re going insane suffering through the same old same old… it’s time to Go With Griffin!
